Team MedPlan is affiliated with Tri Star Cycling and was founded by Kelly A. Bownes and Lissy Cowdery. A special thanks to Stephen Collins Of TriStar for allowing us the opportunity to affiliate with TriStar and for his continued support. Several individuals had an active role in the formation of the team which is comprised of women from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

Lissy Cowdery is the Captain of Team MedPlan and brings a solid foundation of race experience and strategy to the team. Lee Farabaugh of Birmingham, AL was the catalyst in making key introductions to introduce team members that will result in friendships that will last for years to come. Kitty Wickes of Atlanta, GA worked diligently to attract and recruit a solid roster of experienced developmental and club members.
